Small fit

Built for smaller heads, with a smaller crown and bill. A good starting point if regular men’s hats feel too big, tall, or bulky.

Standard fit

Our most popular fit. If regular men’s adjustable hats normally fit you well, start here.

Wear a size 7?

Size 7 is the upper edge of our Small recommendation. Choose Small if regular men’s hats feel too tall or bulky. Choose Standard if they normally fit well or you prefer more room in the crown.

Women’s hats and visors

Our women’s hat and both visor styles have their own shape and fit. The measurements below are taken around the inside at the normal snap setting, with the snapback holes and notches lined up. Each adjusts tighter and looser. These are measurements at one setting, not complete recommended fit ranges.

For reference, the Small Iron Goat Hat measures 54 cm and the Standard measures 57 cm at that same snap setting. A matching circumference doesn’t mean different styles sit the same.

How to measure your head

Wrap a soft tape measure around your head where the sweatband sits, just above your eyebrows and ears. Keep it level and comfortably snug. If you already own a fitted hat that feels right, use its size as a starting point.
